Mercy Residence
This is our home for pregnant or parenting homeless youth ages 16-24. The admission process requires potential residents to contact the local Department of Social Services and identify themselves as homeless. Residents in the two mother/baby homes can expect to receive case management, counseling, psychiatric services if needed, and ongoing parenting skills training in the home environment. While in the program residents receive childcare on site while they continue their education or attend school. Admission is voluntary, residents may stay up to one year. If you are pregnant, or have a child and are homeless call 631-363-6009 for further guidance on how to get the help you need and deserve.
We provide a safe structured place to live while residents can finish school, go to work, and learn how to be good mothers to their babies. |
