Mercy Center Ministries is having a chili contest at
Avino’s ItalianTable in Bellport
(108 South Country Rd.) on February 26th from 2-5pm.
WE NEED COMPETITORS!
There is a $10 donation to enter your chili (and side dish), and admission is $10 for the public. KIDS under 12 “taste” for free and a cash barand regular menu will also be available that night. There will three top prizes and a 50/50raffle. All proceeds from the admission,entry and raffle go directly to Mercy’s three programs for homeless teens andteen mothers. Please call immediately ifyou know you want to enter your chili, we have limited spots 631-447-3978 or send check to Mercy Center Ministries 436 W. Main St, Patchogue, include the name of your chili and you're in!. The side dish can be simple like chips orcorn bread, or whatever you would like. Guests can pay at the door that day. Bring your appetite!Mercy Celebrates 28 years with a Journal and Anniversary Luncheon at Lands End on March 25th. This year's honoree is Mary Ellen Adams. Mercy's Annual Fashion Show will take place on May 8th at West Lake Catering in Patchogue. Details are still coming together but the theme will be Hawaiian luau, and the Chinese auction will be gigantic!
Men's Night details still coming together, date and honoree to be announced in February. Mercy's 5k Run for Homeless Youth will be held in October again at beautiful Smith Point Park. Date will be announced in February.
